Nineteen Minutes
"I think a person's life is supposed to be like a DVD. You can see the version everyone sees, or you can choose the director's cut - the way he wanted you to see it, before everything else got in the way.
There are menus, probably, so that you can start at the good spots and not have to relive the bad ones. You can measure your life by the number of scenes you've survived, or the minutes you've stuck there.
Probably, though, life is more like one of those dumb video surveillance tapes. Grainy, no matter how hard you stare at it. And looped: the same thing, over and over."
-Nineteen Minutes
This, is a cynical way of thinking about life, but if you really live your life, I guess you could have days of sunshine and most of the time, things don't turn out as bad as they seem. and even if life was like a DVD, I guess I would like it to turn out as a good one, maybe a chick flick, with The Jonas Brothers playing my soundtrack and my friends, the supporting roles.
I can't wait till the end of extended studies, like SERIOUSLY can't wait for it. I hate waking up early! pfft. Bless the teacher who decided to give 3/5 the AVT as our homeroom. Air-con baby! :D We are happy people.
A new word I learnt today is : condescending
It means to assuming a tone of superiority/patronising attitude
It means to assuming a tone of superiority/patronising attitude
I know of some people who are like that, and sometimes it get really irritating but you can't say anything cos you don't wanna be mean/hurt the person's feelings. (I must learn to keep things to myself) BUT, nobody's perfect. so, TOO BAD.
Okay, I'm gonna be a good girl and start on my TYS tonight, after taking my afternoon nap, (I'm gonna make this compulsory)
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE JAPAN TRIP. (however sucky it might turn out to be)
